IMPROV FOR RPGs (4 week class)

IMPROV FOR RPGs (4 week class)
Professional improvisers and teachers Amy Vorpahl, Dave Hill and Douglas Sarine have designed a program to help you enhance your role-play gaming with improvisation! We’ll guide you through fun, interactive workshops that build confidence, open up creativity, and improve collaboration.
What to Expect
Roleplaying improv exercises you can do anywhere
Learning the tools of collaborative storytelling
Building confidence and positivity in expressing your creativity
Practicing techniques for unlocking playfulness and character building
Our goal is to unlock your creativity and bring more “go for it” fun to your gaming adventures!
This class is best for folks with at least a few years of experience playing TTRPG’s. Enough that you have a frame of reference for roleplaying in a game system. It certainly can be D&D, but doesn’t have to be. No improvisation experience is required.
While we aim to have a lot of fun, this is not a comedy class. It is a character and storytelling workshop.
We'll work together as a group to explore the intersection of game knowledge/rules and discovering/having fun as a character and a participant in a larger story.
Four 3-hour classes.
Class schedule is Thursdays 6-9 pm PT, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23
This class is ONLINE, so a stable internet connection is recommended.
